McDonald's Dollar Menu and More gives customers a much broader selection of menu items at very affordable prices. How can we launch the experience and make it even more famous and loved?
Putting the focus on variety, quality, and excitement, I created a gallery series to introduce the huge food selection, while portraying each item’s taste by its flavored-inspired animation.
The initial launch had a great impact on the market. In the running year, the experience was updated three times with new items added.

How can we re-launch the website to focus more on the coffee bean’s origin and the quality? Additionally, how can we help customers find McCafé near them?
Through a horizontal scrolling panel, people take a rich visual journey of the coffee bean’s story, while they still can find flavor information at the front. I simplified the mobile experience to be product-focused. I also added the store locator functionality to help customers find products near them.
Being able to turn around the project efficiently in such a short amount of time is a great mission accomplished. The client, account manager, and project manager were excited about the huge success of the project in the market.

With a very limited budget, how can we tell a story to introduce the new McCafé coffee flavors?
I created a world of coffee flavor with graphical illustration to invite people to know more about the three flavors: hazelnut, French vanilla, and caramel in a pleasant and lighthearted way. I also loved the coffee swirl transition that took people into the world of the cup.
We experimented with a different visual style for McDonald’s. Although we liked the style, we also learned that a more realistic visual style helped people recognize the product better.
